• Washington ranks as the second UFO capital of the U.S., with one reported sighting for every 977 residents
• Louisiana remains the state you’re least likely to spot a flying saucer, at 1 UFO per 3,464 people
• Nevada, home to Area 51, ranked in 19th place (1 per 1,657)

CA Key Findings:

• Alberta is now the UFO capital in Canada, with total sightings of 1 per 568 people (they previously ranked second place)
• while Ontario is the 2nd most likely province/territory you’ll spot a UFO (1 for every 568 people)
• Newfoundland and Labrador is the province/territory you’re least likely, at 1 UFO for every 7,451 people

UFO Hotspots Across America:

Let’s kick off our alien tour with Delaware recognized as the alien abduction capital of America, with 1,097 reported sightings since 1974. Many residents have reported seeing mysterious ‘flying cylinders’ with ‘beaming lights’ hovering above their homes. With such numbers, Delaware’s UFO sightings per person come to 928, making it a prime spot for extraterrestrial activity to take place (up from 4th place last year).

Next on the list is Washington, ranked as the second UFO capital of America, with 7,595 reported sightings since 1974. Whether you're a believer or a sceptic, the state has long been associated with eerie encounters and unexplained lights in the sky. So, where can you live if you'd rather avoid alien abduction altogether? With 1,325 reported sightings - about 1 per 3,464 people - it has the fewest UFO encounters in the country. If you're scared of aliens, rest assured, Louisiana is likely your safest bet!

Let’s journey to the Great White North and explore the provinces and territories where you're most likely to experience a UFO encounter and alien abduction.

Coming in as Canada's UFO hotspot is Alberta, where residents have reported 770 UFO sightings over the years. With a number of 1 UFO per 568 people, Alberta has become a quieter but still significant part of the country's UFO story.
